Jeannette Nilene Lafon

Jeannette Nilene Lafon, 47, of Oak Hill passed away of Friday, August 9, 2024 at CAMC Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.

Born September 23, 1976 in Marion, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lafon and Melissa Mefford.

Jeannette was a homemaker, she enjoyed working on crafts and thrifting and her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by the ones she loved dearly.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her Significant other, Owen Rogers, loving children, Ciara Evans, Autumn Ingram, and Ronnie Owens; 3 grandchildren, Avaya Evans, Joseph Evans, and Nova Owens; brother, Anthony Mefford (Sarah Medford);  Aunt, Elaine Skelton and many cousins.

In keeping with Jeannette's wishes she will be cremated.
