Jamie Leigh Ann Workman

Jamie Leigh Ann Workman, 41, of Layland, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, Charleston. 

Born October 3, 1984 at Beckley, she was the daughter of Steven Coleman and Tina Price. 

Jamie was a graduate of Independence High School, Bluefield State, and Concord. She was formerly employed in area hospitals and medical offices as billing and coding specialist. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Iris Hansford; paternal grandfather, Ellis Coleman; aunts, Sherry and Tressa; uncles, Randy and Danny; and two furbabies Ellie and Whitty. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Workman; her mother, Tina Price; sister, Katelyn Hutchinson and her husband, Jared; niece, Olivia; cousins, Jessie Adkins, Samantha McKinney, and Kristi Blevins; special friends, Savannah Chatfield, Dixie Miller-Workman, Nick and Ellen Chambers, Benji Lilly, and Jerri Skaggs; and her two furbabies, Rowdy and Rory.
