James Ray Lusk, Jr.

James Ray Lusk, Jr., 69, of Corinne, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in a Beckley hospital. 

Born October 19, 1956, at Corinne, he was the son of the late James Ray Lusk, Sr. and Margaret Jane (Lafferty) Lusk. 

Ray was an avid Duke fan and loved watching sports. He enjoyed watching birds, spending time with his grandchildren, and always knew how to make you feel better after visiting with him. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two sisters, Patty White and Nancy Jane Stacy. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Chelsea Coleman and her husband, Jeffrey of Mullens; his two sons, Jamie Lusk and his wife, Ashley of Mullens and Jordan Lusk and his wife, Morgan of Beckley; seven grandchildren, Brayden Reed, Jaxon Coleman, Jake Coleman, Alex Lusk, Lincoln Lusk, Mia Lusk, and Dayton Ballew; two sisters, Sandy Rose of Crab Orchard and Teresa Hendricks of Mullens; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with Ray's wishes, he will be cremated, and there will be no service at this time.
