Jackie "Jack" Lee Wygal

Jackie Lee Wygal (Jack) 83 of Glen Jean passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
Born May 12, 1938, in Beckwith, WV he was the son of the Emmett and Texas Wygal.
Jack was a retired heavy equipment operator and mechanic, loved to fish, hunt, and camp. He liked to work on small engines and was a regular mister fix it. He loved music and could play any instrument he touched and was a loyal and faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Beckley. Jack never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Helen Rose, Delores Fischer, Betty Waddell of Columbus, Ohio and Nancy Acord of Beckley
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Carol Smith Wygal; daughter Debbie Wygal Dorsey; sons, Chris Wygal, and Jackie Scott Wygal and wife Brittani; grandchildren, Eric Dorsey and wife Liz, John Dorsey, Jessica Pierce and her husband Martin, Kayln, and Callie Wygal; great grandchildren, Kolton, Jack, Benjamin, and Abigail; sisters, Kay Lay and husband Jess of Bradley and Margaret Lorenzino of Grafton, VA. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022, at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with burial to follow at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville, WV.
Visitation for friends will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
Pallbearers will be Eric and John Dorsey Martin Pierce, Gary Jr., Bobby and Jerry Acord.
