Herman Hunter Williams Sr.

Herman Hunter Williams, Sr., 80 of Clear Creek, WV passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born January 18, 1940 in Beckley, WV he was the son of the late Johnny Page and Ethel McBride Williams.
Herman retired from the coal mines after 35 years, he was a loyal and faithful member of the Clear Creek Presbyterian Church, and most importantly loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Julia “Judy” Scarbro Williams; grandson, Austin Fraley; brothers, Lorin Williams and Harry Williams; and sister, Nora Stover; daughter in law, Kathy Williams.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, Ronnie Williams and wife Carol, Leshia Littreal and husband Scott, Kevin Williams, Melanie Bower and husband Marty, Herman Williams, Jr. and wife Brenda, Lewis Eddy Williams, and Angel Fraley and husband Bobby; 13 grandchildren, Johnny, Jamie, Jeff, Derek, Erin, Mark, Rosanna, Nicole, Tiffany, Nicholas, Travis, Jimmy, and Lacey; 36 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; brothers, Willie Williams and Milton Williams; and sisters, Joy Bailey and Phyllis Agee.; and many other family members.
He will be missed - everyone that knew Herman loved him.
In keeping with Herman's wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Clear Creek Presbyterian Church in Clear Creek. Visitation for friends will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
