Herbert Henry Lane, Jr.

Herbert Henry Lane, Jr, age 98, of Oak Hill and Flat Top, passed away on September 12, 2022. Born July 16, 1924, in Prudence, WV, he was the son of the late Herbert H. Lane and Bessie Walker Lane.
He is preceded in death by wife, Virginia Byrnside Lane.
He is survived by loving daughters, Patricia Lane of Oak Hill and Paula Lang (Michael) of Hurricane, grandson, Parker Lang (Shelby and Evie White)of Lexington, KY, and nieces; Brenda Allen and Sara Morgan Stephenson.
A visitation will be held Sunday September 18, 2022, at 12:30, with funeral services starting at 1:30 with Dr. Ken Krimmel officiating. Burial to follow at High Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a memorial contribution to the Ghent Volunteer Fire Department P.O. Box 99, Ghent, WV 25843.
