Harold Brenton Maxwell, 74 passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his daughter's residence in Parsons, WV.
Born July 9, 1944 in Flat Rock, MD., he was the son of the late Fred Maxwell, Sr. and Gertrude Miller Braham.
Harold was a self employed owner mason and attended the Hilltop Worship Center.
He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Phyllis Kay Walker Maxwell; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Rae Roles, and Scott Parks.
Those left to cherish his memory include six children, Steve Maxwell (Sue) of Berryville, AK., Thom Maxwell (Jay Buchheim) of Cincinnati, OH., Charles Maxwell (Kim) of Hendersonville, TN., Kenny Maxwell (Leann) of Gallatin, TN., Jeff Maxwell (Michelle) of Beckley, WV., and Mollie Smith (Anthony) of Edinburg, VA.; four step children, Norman Parks of Parson, WV., Becky Corcoran and companion Ron Marker of Parsons, WV., Janet Myers (Leroy) of Montrose, WV., and Tammy Weissman (Jim) of Texas; twenty-nine grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Maxwell, Jr., and Howard Maxwell.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Terry Dameron officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
