Gloria Lou Hager

Gloria L. Garten Hager, 82, of Oak Hill passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born March 11, 1941 in Beckley, WV she was the daughter of the late Herman and Edith Arthur Garten.

Gloria retired from Sears, she enjoyed going to church, and in her leisure she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Edith Garten; brother, Charles Garten; Husbands, George B. Lilly and Jesse Hager; and beloved daughter, Pamela Y. Lilly.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her sons, Pete Lilly and wife Jeanie and Jeff Lilly and wife Missy; grandchildren, Megan and Derek Trembly, Jeffrey Lilly and Amber Adkins, Madison and Brett Butler, Randi Harrah, Izy Harrah and Bryan Lilly and Samantha; great grandchildren, Sutton, Anderson, Kenzie, Walker, Anslei, Ryder, Audrey, and Kuyper; sisters, Patty Garten, Sissy Holland, and Clara Ayers and Bill; brother, Kenneth Garten; and several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family.

Visitation for friends will be Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV.
