Glenna Fay Hudson Coleman

Glenna Fay Hudson Coleman, age 82, formerly of Mount Hope, WV died at her home in Elkridge, MD on Thursday, February 26, 2014. Born January 10, 1932 at Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel Hudson. Glenna was retired from Mariner Nursing Home in Laurel, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester James “Buster” Coleman, Jr. who was a son of the late Chester and Veda Smith Coleman of Dothan. Sons, Kevin Lee Coleman, John Steven Coleman and Ricky Dean Coleman; daughters, Lois Coleman and Susan Elizabeth Coleman Deithorn; a grandson, Brian; brother, Galen and two sisters, Nona Gay and May also preceded her in death. She is survived by five sons, James M. Coleman, Sr. and wife, Peggy, Randall N. Coleman and wife, Kathy, Timothy R. Coleman, Sr. and wife, Sue, Charles Bartley Coleman, Sr. and wife, Jody A. and Leslie W. Coleman; son-in-law, Shane Deithorn; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Glenna also leaves behind many family members and friends in Fayette County. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. At her request, Mrs. Coleman was cremated. There will be no service. Her cremains will be interred beside her daughter and grandson at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD.
