Obituary

Garry Lee Robinson, 62, of Mount Hope passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV with his loving family by his side.

Born December 11, 1962 in Frankfort, Germany he was the son of the late Willie Burton Robinson and Hazel Mae Leach Robinson.

Garry enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping, hiking, hunting as he liked to just count the deer, and mowing grass. He was a jokester as he loved making others smile and enjoyed helping them as well. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family as they were his pride and joy especially his grandchildren who they all loved to call him Paw-paw.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife of 26 years Joyce Robinson; daughter, Amanda Gillaspie and husband Paul; son, Wesley Pack; 5 grandchildren who were there Paw-paw's pride and joy Lathen, Raelynn, Landen, Kaysen, and Kaislyn; brother, Willie Robinson and Wife Myrna; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel 999 Jones Avenue  Oak Hill WV, 25901 with Pastor Tommy Pack officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
