First Sergeant Paul Eugene Perry
First Sergeant Paul Eugene Perry, born August 26, 1949, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 26, 2026.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force with dignity, honor, and unwavering dedication. After twenty years of faithful service, he retired as a First Sergeant.
Paul was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, and friend. He lived a life devoted to serving God and showing love to everyone he met. His life was filled with experiences, adventures, and countless memories shared with family and friends. His love for others was evident to all who knew him.
Paul’s life was a life of service, faith, and love. He would want us not only to mourn his passing, but to celebrate his new journey at God’s side. He would want us to continue loving one another, caring for one another, and carrying forward the legacy of love he left behind.
It is now our turn to carry the torch of love.
“Love each other as Paul has loved you. Continue his legacy of love for all.”
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Sue Perry; his son, Paul Anthony Perry; and his siblings, Jerry Perry and Sara Perry, Pat Perry and Martha Perry, Helen Cantley and Daryl Cantley, Ruthie Pritt, and Ronnie Perry and Betty Perry.
Dad, you are loved by us all. We will carry your love with us always.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Paul’s life at Virginia Street Baptist Church, 301 Summerlee Avenue, Oak Hill, West Virginia 25901.
Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
