Everette "Eddie" Ira Nowlin

Everette "Eddie" Ira Nowlin, 67, of Oak Hill passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at CAMC General  in Charleston.

Born November 29, 1958 in Oak Hill he was the son of the late William Everette Nowlin and Nellie (Kokoski) Nowlin.

Eddie was a 1976 graduate of Oak Hill High School and also went to West Virginia Tech and graduated in December of 1997 with a Bachelors Degree in Science. He drove a bus for the senior citizens. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, being outside, and working word search puzzles. 

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his parents; companion for 33 years Linda Yarber; and brother, Albert Kokoski.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving daughter, Hollie Phillips (Aaron Phillips); five grandchildren, Andrew Phillips (Erin Fox), Caleb Phillips, Haley Phillips, Abigail Phillips, and Jessica Goodson; one great granddaughter, Violet Phillips; and two brothers, Norman W. Staples and Michael Nowlin.

In keeping with Mr. Everette Nowlin wishes he will be cremated and no services at this time.
