Eva Owen

Eva Thora Hollis Owen, 88, of Beards Fork, WV died on Friday, May 21, 2004 at Montgomery General Hospital in Montgomery, WV following a short illness. Born July 23, 1915 at Ramsey, Huntingtonshire, England, she was the daughter of the late George and Violet Hollis. Mrs. Owen was of the Protestant faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William John Owen; granddaughter, Sonya Enzirilla and great grandson, Austin Wykle. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Clay of Beards Fork; grandson, Edwin James Clay of Ingram Branch and a brother, Ronald Hollis of England. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, May 24, 2004, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Services will be on Monday, May 24, 2004 at 7:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Randy Black officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
