Edith Faye Niday, 93, of Oak Hill passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.
Born February 12. 1927 in Ramsey, WV she was the daughter of the late Lon and Myrtle Richmond Cole.
Edith was a homemaker and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Morris Niday; son, Morris C. Niday II; 2 grandchildren; many brothers and sisters; and son in law, Nelson Dempsey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Carolyn Dempsey, Dianna Meadows (James), Judy Neal (Gary), James Niday (Terry), Herb Niday, and Debbie Syner (John); many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Billy Cole.
Graveside service will be held at a later date.
