Dorma Carter

Dorma Oda Worlledge Carter, 78, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, February 16, 2004 at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, NC. Born August 26, 1925 at Nallen, WV she was the daughter of the late Willie Lee and Tressie Humphries Worlledge. She was the owner of Mom's Mud Hut Ceramics in Oak Hill. Ms. Carter was of the Baptist faith and a graduate of Mount Hope High School Class of 1942-43. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ariel Worlledge and sister, Gaythel Harrah. Survivors include Brothers: Riley Worlledge of Oak Hill Richard Worlledge of Hico Sisters: Doris June Davis of Oak Hill Janice Morgan of Elizabeth City, NC Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, February 19, 2004, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV.
