Donna Faye Lopez

Donna Fay Humphrey Lopez, 63, of Oak Hill, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 14, 2025 at her residence with her companion, Billy Strader and her furbaby, Sandy by her side. 

Born January 15, 1962, at Montgomery, she was the daughter of the late Roxie and Harold (Speedy) Humphrey, Sr. 

Donna enjoyed collecting unicorns and anything with a western theme to it. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends along with her furbaby Sandy. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her in laws, Augustine (Sam) and Gloria Lopez ; her husband, Jessie Wayne Lopez; and brother, Harold Humphrey, Jr.; brother-in-laws, Johnny Thorne and James (Jim) Crisp. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jessica Jeffries of Scarbro; granddaughter, Skylar Jeffries; siblings, Clara Thorne of Scarbro, Jimmy Dale Humphrey (Susan) of Columbia, SC, Evelyn Joann Crisp of Fredricksburg, VA, Terry Wayne Humphrey of Montgomery, and Brenda (David) Eary of Cass; brother and sister-in-law, Augustine Vincent and Verna Lopez of Palm Spring, FL; sister-in-law, Judy Lopez of Oak Hill; aunt Janet Penocett of Middletown, NJ; cousins, Sherry Barger of Middletown, NJ, Michelle Szczesny of Middletown, NJ, and Patricia Aranda (Connor) of Beckley. 

For family and friends that are to numerous to mention by name, know that Donna loved and cherished each one of you and wants to say thank you for being with her through her life journey. 

In keeping with Donna's wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held for Donna and Jessie Wayne Lopez at a later date.
