David "Scott" Stevens

David “ Scott” Stevens, 38, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at CAMC Plateau Medical Center.


Born November 26, 1985, at Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Catherene Corbin and her significant other, David Adkins and his father , David Stevens.


Scott was a 2003 graduate of Oak Hill High School and also took classes at FCVT for building and construction. He always loved helping others. He was always willing to lend a hand. He enjoyed working on vehicles especially his Ford trucks, and anything that he could do with his hands.


He was preceded in death by his brother, Sean Stevens 9 days prior also, his maternal grandfather and his paternal grandparents.


Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Catherene Corbin of Fayetteville and her significant other, David Adkins of Edmond who was like a father to Scott; his father, David Stevens of Pasadena, Maryland; Two sisters, Krystyn Stevens and her companion, Chris of Beckley and Zoe Waters and her husband, Cody of Morgantown; maternal grandmother, Michaeleen Dorsey of Oak Hill; a nephew, Sebastian Dancy; a special Aunt, Maria Dorsey (Paul) of Glen Burnie, Maryland; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and a lot of friends.


In keeping with Scott's wishes, he will be cremated and a Memorial service for Scott and Sean Stevens, will be held together at Gartan Pentecostal Holiness Church on March 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM . Their interment will be held at Bibb Cemetery on Wonderland Road following memorial.
