David Earl Arthur

David Earl Arthur, 80, of Beckley, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley. 

Born May 31, 1945 at Beckley, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lottie (Yancey) Arthur. 

David was a businessman. He was a former part owner of Accu Lanes Bowling Alley and former owner of D&J'S Pawn Shop. He was a former coalminer and in his leisure, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Billie Arthur. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his four sons, Terry Arthur, Cole Arthur (Hope), Tyler Arthur, and Chris Arthur (Lori); four grandchildren, Tiffany, Josh, Tristan, and Nicholas; five great grandchildren; one sister, Lois; and one brother, Charles Arthur. 

Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope with Rev. Loretta Taylor officiating. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. 

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated after the services.
