Damita Lea Herron Aliff, 56, of Oak Hill passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at CAMC Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born May 31, 1967 in Beckley, WV she was the daughter of the late Brenda Taylor and step father James Taylor.
Damita worked as a medical receptionist and in her leisure she enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and especially spending time with her family.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her Arthur "Johnny" and Jaunita Simpson Herron.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband of 34 years Lester Aliff; son, Jonathan Aliff; aunts, Linda Herron Loving (Kenny) and Sherrill Lilly (Thomas Lyons); cousin, Tonya; and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Damita's wishes she will be cremated and no services at this time.
