Clarence Junior Plumley

April 4, 1953 — June 2, 2026

Mount Hope, West Virginia

Clarence Junior Plumley born April 4, 1953.

Junior went home to be with the Lord; surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Junior was the Pastor of Little Valley Baptist Church for almost 26 years; where he put his whole heart in his church and his church family.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Clarence Plumley; mother, Helen Plumley; and brother, Robert Plumley.

Junior worked as a coal miner at Royal, Eccles and Maple Meadow. He ran his own business for nearly 6 years, and worked at Georigia Pacific for year, but Junior was remembered mostly by being 9/8's concrete man.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife for nearly 43 years JoAnn Plumley his punkin; 2 daughters, Tiffany Mortier, huband Travis and there four children, Gavin Maynor, and wife Tessa, Greyson Maynor, Gracie Plumley-Mortier, and Josie Mortier; Jessica Lilly, and Michael Turner-son-in-law to be, and two boys, Mason Lilly, and Weston Lilly; his only son, C.J. Plumley (BUBBA) wife, Jasmine, and boys Bellami and Branson; one and only sister and friend, Wilma Childers; and brother, Eddie Plumley.

Junior enjoyed his personal time with the Lord, studying and reading his Bible. He also thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch, drinking coffee, watchin the birds with his wife, his punkin. He enjoyed spending FAMILY TIME with the kids; and watchin gun smoke every evening. But his greatest love of all was Jesus Christ and we know without a doubt, he is at Jesus feet.

Arrangements are pending at this time.
