Clarence Samuel Davis, age 83, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020.
Born February 1, 1937, at Artie, WV, he was the son of the late Holmes and Mary Scarbro Davis.
Clarence was a former coal miner and later worked in security. He served his country in the US Army for five years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, June Ella Noe Davis; by his son Clarence Davis, Jr., his daughter Debra Davis, by grandsons, (Little) Ernie Fellows, IV, Cody Davis and by a great grandson, Cameron Sanner. Also preceded in death by his siblings, Buster, Clinton, Brenda, Wanita Mae, David, Denny and Faye.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Brian Davis (Shelly), Sandra Kemnitz (Randy), Monica Fellows (Ernie, III), Karen Davis (Robert) and Laura Stewart (Chris); 18 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Betty Mullins, John Davis, Peggy Holdren, Mary Lou Farris, and Holmes Davis, Jr. ; and numerous other loved ones.
Graveside and committal services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2020 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum #1 in Prosperity with Pastor Shirlie Watson officiating. Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope from 6-8 PM on Thursday.
