Charlotte Ann (Toney) Williams

Charlotte Ann Williams, 76, passed away on Friday evening July 18, 2025, at Raleigh General Hospital following long illness.

Born March 21st, 1949, in Toney Creek, Fayette County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Toney and Wilma (Smith) Toney.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Fred Toney, Samuel Toney, and Issac Toney; and 2 sisters, Shelvy (Toney)Wiley and Jan (Toney) Kirk.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Charles D. Williams of Scarbro, WV son, Charles Williams, Jr. of Summersville, WV.; daughter, Donna G.(Williams) Akers (Earl) of Weston, WV; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Williams of Denver, CO, McKayla Williams of Delray Beach, FL, and Mason Akers of West, WV; 1 sister, Wilda Hall (Steve) of Paintsville, KY.; brothers, Charles A. Toney (Dawn) of Mebaine, NC., Preston Toney (Malinda) of Fayetteville, WV., and Wilbur Toney of Beckley, WV. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was a 1968 graduate from Collins High School. Baptized in 1964 at Dothan Community Church, she served her Lord and Savior faithfully. Mrs. Williams was a very warm, kind, fun-loving, and generous woman. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband, traveling, and her many flower gardens. She was a devoted homemaker, and she loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She will be missed greatly.
