Carl David Coleman, Jr.

Carl David Coleman, Jr., 61 of Oak Hill passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at CAMC General in Charleston, WV with his family by his side.

Born August 2, 1962, in Ypsilanti, MI he was the son of Catherine Carol Boner Coleman and the late Carl David Coleman, Sr.

Carl was a proud United Sates Army Veteran; he worked as a maintenance supervisor, and in his leisure he enjoyed playing his guitar, dancing, bowling, playing on the computer, being a comedian as he loved making others laugh and boating. He was a master of all trades and never met a stranger. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his father he is preceded in death by stepdaughter, Felicia Roberson.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife, Donna Roberson Coleman; sons, Damon Coleman (Kaitlin), Nathan Coleman (Andrea), and Chad Coleman; step-daughter, Angela Roberson; step-son, Anthony Roberson; 6 grandchildren, Caleb Coleman, Teagan Coleman, Wyatt Coleman, Emersyn Coleman, Everett Coleman, and Cash Coleman; 7 step-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Kenady, Maddox, Anna, Alexa, Asher, and Skye; 4 sisters, Lisa Daniel, Diana Brannon (Shawn), Lora Coleman, and Nancy Lane (Mike); and a special brother and sister, Shawn and Kerby Wolfe.

Visitation friends will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Rich Creek Community Cemetery in Jodie, WV.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
