Brenda Kay Lykins Jarrell, 68, of Minden, WV died on Saturday March 23rd, 2024 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born December 31st, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Betty Ann Bolt of Chicago, IL. She also is proceeded in death by her daughter Tammy Ann Jarrell Dixon, as well as her brothers and sisters; Luke, Larry, Karen and Sue.
She is survived by her sister Lisa of Chicago IL.; her son's, John and Lewis Jarrell both of Oak Hill, her grandchildren; Brittany, Carrissa, Leith, Jamie, Adam, Brandy, Haley, Heather, Harold and Hayden, several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Scrappy whom she adored dearly.
Kay lived a long full life, in a short amount of time. She loved the river and loved to fish. She once caught a 15 pound mudcat on a pole, out fishing her son's and to this day they've never broken her record.
She also enjoyed mushroom hunting. She loved the outdoors, she loved her family and friends, and she loved life.
She will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
A memorial will be held for Kay at a later date.
