Brenda Elaine Goins

Brenda Elaine Smith Goins, 79, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born October 3, 1944 in Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Lura Toney Smith.

Brenda was a 1963 graduate from Collins High School. She was a member of Life Bridge Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School and also attended the Harvey United Methodist Church. In her leisure she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who where her greatest joy.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband, Roger Goins; daughter, Dawn Goins Bragg (Scott); sons, Brian Goins (Belinda) and Jeremiah Goins (Megan); 3 grandchildren, Chasity Thomas, Zachary Thomas (Randa), and Jacob Thomas (Brooklyn); 4 great grandchildren, Mason Waddell, Bryson Thomas, Preslei Thomas, and Greyson Thomas; and a sister, Kay Bigelow.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with son Brian Goins officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley WV, 25801.
