Bovy Henry Ball, Jr.

Bovy Henry Ball, Jr., 74, of Mount Hope, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 in a Charleston hospital. 

Born February 21, 1951 at Logan, he was the son of the late Bovy Henry Ball, Sr. and Joyce (Altizer) Ball. 

Bovy was a former truck driver and enjoyed being on the road. He had his own way of life, he was a very stubborn man (says his son), but most importantly, he was a family man and took care of his children. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Candy Ball; infant daughter, Joy Ball; son, Thadias Ball; and brother, Mike. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Tamara Ball (Osimino), Alexandria Ball (Zane), and Arizona Ball (Tyler); his sons, Mickey, Hank Ball, Jeremiah Ball, Joey Ball (Sarah), and Christian Ball (Amelia); his granchildren, Serenity, Trey, Brantley, Bennett, Atlas, Kaysen, Aiden, Braylynn, Lexi, Carter, Weston, Zaiden, Mason, Jordan, Bryson, and Jason; his sister, Dawn; and three brothers, Greg, Bill, and David. 

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.
