Barbara Jean Mckinney

Barbara Jean Blankenship McKinney, 69, of Scarbro, WV died on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. She was born June 13, 1939 at Cabin Creek, WV a daughter of the late Ted Jack and Hazel Elkins Blankenship. Mrs. McKinney was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Thornquest and Randy Thornquest and great grandson, Aaron Steeley. Survivors include her husband, Larry McKinney; one daughter, Darla Mobley of Pax; five sons, Rusty Thornquest of Maple Fork, Ricky Thornquest, Ronald Thornquest, Roger Thornquest and Rodney Thornquest all of Pax; one brother, Wayne Blankenship; one sister, Nancy Solis of Fayetteville; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren Graveside rites and committal services will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Williams Cemetery in Willis Branch with Rev.
