Barbara "Bobbie" Lynn (Thomas) Canterbury

Barbara "Bobbie" Lynn (Thomas) Canterbury, 79, of Mount Hope passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Born March 8, 1946 in Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late Robert R. Thomas, Jr. and Helen (Grose) Thomas

Bobbie was a graduate from Colling High School and was a homemaker. In her leisure she enjoyed working on crafts, playing games, and she especially loved traveling with her family. As family meant the world to her.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Canterbury; and brother, Robert R. Thomas, III.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving sisters, Sarah Thomas and Leah Thomas; brother, John Thomas; niece Jenelle Canterbury (Bill); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In keeping with her wishes Barbara will be cremated and a memorial service with entombment at High Lawn Memorial Park will follow at a later date.
