Audrey Mills Linville

Audrey Mills Linville, 76, of Cool Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side. 

Born June 9, 1949 in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Alta Mae (Dean) Mills. 

Audrey was a former medical secretary. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Linville; father-in-law, John B. Linville; and brother-in-law, Jesse Thompson. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Johnnie Linville; one son, David H. Linville; three grandchildren, Ameila, Amanda, and Abram Linville; one sister, Henrietta Straughn and her husband, William; mother-in-law, Frances Linville; four brother-in-laws, Steve Linville and his wife, Denise, Tom Hughey and his wife, Dianna, Robert Barker and his wife, Trudy, and Ronnie Vance and his wife, Cheryl; sister-in-law, Eva Thompson; Deion Johnson whom Johnnie and Audrey consider as a son; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with Audrey's wishes, she will be cremated, and there will be no service at this time. 

The family would like to thank the home based team from Hospice of Southern West Virginia for the care they shown Audrey during her time with them.
