Antoinette "Toni" Webb
March 1, 1949 — August 18, 2019
Antoinette L. “Toni” Jones Webb. 70, of Dothan, WV died on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV of ovarian cancer.
She was born on March 1, 1949 in Washington D.C., the daughter of the late Warren E. and Marguerite J. Ciarrochi Jones.
Toni was a member SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill. She attended Catholic schools in Maryland before pursuing her education degree with WVIT, where she met and married Bruce Webb, her husband of 47 years.
Following a brief teaching career in Fayette County Schools, Toni went to work for the USPS where she served as a clerk and carrier before retiring as postmaster after nearly 29 years of service.
Following retirement, Toni earned her Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Duquesne University.
Her husband Bruce Lawson Webb preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, David (Kristan) Webb and Mark (Alison) Webb; brother, Robert Jones; sister, Emilie (Mike) Sampson; and two half sisters, Patty Sims and Jackie Bergstron.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Celebrants Father Soosai Arokiadass and Father Bill Petro. Burial will follow at the Lawson Webb Cemetery, Dothan. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City OK 73123 or Oak Hill Library, 611 Main Street West, Oak Hill WV 25901
