William Walter Renkovish Sr.

Master Sergeant William Walter “Bill” Renkovish, Sr., 85, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born May 2, 1933 in Milburn, WV he was the son of the late Charles Renkovish and Beulah May Marshall Burgess.
He is preceded in death by Beulah, his beloved wife of 57 years, sisters, Joann Lint and Maxine Newhouse; a brother, Raymond Burgess; and grandson Stephen Renkovish Jr.
He leaves behind two sons, William Renkovish, Jr and his wife, Rose of Oak Hill and Steve Renkovish and his wife, Lorraine of Easley, SC; daughter, Donna Renkovish McCurry and her husband,Ken of Rock Hill, SC; and sister Joyce and her Husband Raymond Lokant of Oak Hill, as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
Bill served his country faithfully for 22 years in the Air Force and then also as an Air Force Recruiter. He was a retired Fayette County School Bus driver.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home with Pastor Delbert Walker, and Pastor Tom Blake officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
