Tommy Eugene Copley , 82, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, February 09, 2017 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born December 07, 1934 at Scarbro, WV he was the son of the late George and Minnie Moody Copley.
Tommy was retired from the US Air Force with 21 years service having been a Master Sgt./Flight Chief.
Family was everything to him and he was a great blessing to his family. He loved to hunt and fish.
His wife, Emogene Richmond Copley; sisters, Lilly Lowery and Lena Smith; and brother, George "Bud" Copley preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory include daughter, Tonja (Mark) Gray of Oak Hill; son, Tommy D. Copley of Oak Hill; sister, Mable McCarraher; brother, James Copley; grandchildren, Clint (Jessica) Gray and Christina Gray; and great grandchildren, Hallie Gray, Zane Gray; Kevin Haggerty and Traci Haggerty.
Funeral services will be on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Kenny Smith and Bob Creed officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
