Timmie Ray Arrington , 65, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born February 06, 1956, in Thayer, WV he was the son of the late Charles and Mabel Dixon Arrington.

Timmie was a 1975 graduate from Collins High School in Oak Hill. He worked for the Fayette County Board of Education as a custodian and bus driver and retired in 2015 as head maintenance worker.

He is preceded in death by wife, Pamela Gouer Arrington and brother, Tommy Lewis Arrington.

Those left to cherish his memory include daughter, Joyce Arrington and fiancé, Allen Ball; adopted daughter, Taylor Arrington; grandchildren, Timothy, Adalyn, and Vivian; former wife, Carol Arrington; brother, Charles Arrington; sister, Debrah Arrington; and best friend of 40 years, Paul Wehrle, who was like a brother.

Services will be on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, in Oak Hill with Pastor Ken Souder officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

While masks are not required you might consider wearing one before entering the building as we all attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19.
