Thomas Edward Piotrowski

Thomas Edward Piotrowski, age 72, passed from this life into glory on January 19, 2022. Born May 27, 1949, in Lochgelly, WV, he was the son of the late Thomas and Belle Faye (Minnich) Piotrowski.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother Michael Alan Piotrowski.
Tom served in the United States Army as an Engineer Missile Maintenace Repair Technician. After college, he obtained a Professional Engineering Designation and worked at the US Army Corps of Engineers in Huntington, WV, for 31 years. Tom retired in 2004 and moved to Ashland, KY, where he pursued his favorite hobby of guns. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ashland, KY.
Tom is survived by his brothers, Bob Piotrowski (Kathy) of Hico, WV and their daughter Grace, and Frank Piotrowski of Lochgelly, WV. The family would also like to thank his girlfriend, Lorry Borders of Ashland, KY.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Minister Michael McCallister officiating at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with burial to follow at High Lawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
