Shelva Holstein Williams

On February 17, 2019 we lost our beloved mother (momaw) Shelva Jean Williams.
Born October 10, 1937 at Kayfork Mountain, WV she was the daughter of the late Dayton and Chartie Stanley Holstein.
Shelva was well known for her cooking, sweet disposition, and devotion to God, her family, and friends.
She lived a full life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her late husband, John Willard Williams preceded her in death on January 13, 2014..
Survivors include six beautiful and strong willed daughters, Jane Ann Williams of Mount Hope, Rose Mary Parsons, Connie (Jimmy) Ruff of Mount Hope, Sandra (Skip) Sanger of Mount Hope, Tammy Underwood and Gary Dicken of Price Hill, and Debbie Williams of Sand Branch. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Hollie Adkins, Jimmy Ruff, Jr., Anthony Smith, Carlos Sanger, Jr., Joey Sanger, Beverly Sanger,Harold (Whirly-bird) Smith, Evelyn Wriston, Shelva Smith, Jacob Patterson, Zachary Patterson, Krissy Underwood, and Johnny Underwood, Jr.; She loved and will be missed by numerous great grandchildren as well as countless friends and family. Shelva leaves behind six siblings, Betty Stephens, Iona Jarrell, Billy Fulk, John Holstein, Kenneth Holstein, and Paul Holstein; one special friend, Mary Dove to whom she thought the world of. Our beautiful Mommy be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Tyree. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens., Prosperity, WV
Pallbearers will be Anthony Smith, Jimmy Ruff, Jr., Joey Sanger, Jacob Patterson, Zachary Patterson, and John Wesley Waddell.
