Samuel A. Tygrett , 62, of Fayetteville, WV died on Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at his home after a two year battle with brain cancer.
Born September 14, 1954 at Garten, WV he was the son of the late Paul A. Tygrett, Sr. and Lora G. Cody Tygrett.
He was a retired driller for Alpha Natural Resources.
A brother, Jerry Houchins and granddaughter, Breanna Nicole Mills preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Sam are his loving wife, Debra Tygrett; stepson, Nick (Deanna) Mills; brothers, Doug (Carol) Tygrett, Pat (Tara) Tygrett, Kenny (Mary Jane) Houchins and Scott Tygrett; sisters, Alma (Harold) West, Jane (Mike) Ratliff, and Lora (Tom) Akers; and grandchildren, Hannah, Chase, Karlee and Nicholas.
Sam will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as a hard worker and a kind, loving man.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Paul Basham officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
