Samuel Dean Gregory , 70, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, October 19, 2018 at United Health Center in Clarksburg, WV.
Sam was born December 2, 1947 in Mount Hope, WV. His parents, the late Anthony Neno and Lola June Cumbow Gregory passed away when he was young. Shirley Lukie and the late Ernest Lukie stepped in to help raise him.
He was a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA and member of the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church.
Sam leaves behind a loving family which includes his wife of 51 years, Linda Lee Brewer Gregory; three sons, Anthony Neno (Kelli) Gregory of Las Vegas, NV, Samuel Dean (Teresa) Gregory II of Oak Hill and Jason Todd (Lisa: Gregory; sisters, Sharon L. (Ronnie) Neely of Fayetteville and Tammie L. (Dave) Chinn of Maple Fork; and grandchildren, Samantha Gregory of Huntington, Logan Gregory of Las Vegas, NV, Shelby Gregory of Oak Hill, Jaden Gregory of Oak Hill and Reagan Gregory of Oak Hill.
Funeral services will be on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Peters officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Monday at the church.
