Robert Russell Sloan

Our precious father and grandfather, Robert Russell Sloan , 86, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born June 24, 1935, in Big Rock, VA, he was the son of the late Floyd and Nettie Caroline Ratliff Sloan.
Mr. Sloan was a retired Welder/Fabricator for Long-Airdox. He was US Army veteran and a member of the DAV. Bob enjoyed restoring antique cars, working with his hands, and spending time with family and friends.
His wife, Glenda Gay Armstrong Sloan (12/25/2008), daughter, Karen Ann Sloan; a great grandson; two sisters; and one brother preceded him in death.
Robert's memory will forever be cherished by daughters, Ronda Gay Falk and husband, Tim, Neysa Renee Green and husband, Ricky, and Susan Dawn Sloan DiGiacomo; sons, Richard Dale Catlett and Robert Keith Sloan and wife, Sarah; son-in-law, Kevin Phillips; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes Robert will be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
