Robert Lane Morton, age 67, went to be with his beloved wife, fur babies and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV on December 13th, 2020.
Born February 7th, 1953, at Lochgelly, WV Robert was the son of the late Thurmond Harold, Sr. and Alberta Jean Allen Morton.
Robert was a 1972 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. He was a welder/fabricator and attended the Spirit and Truth Ministries in Oak Hill.
He was proceeded in death by wife by his wife Sandra Kay Gravely Morton and a grandchild of his daughter Lora Ayers and Kenny Cook.
Robert loved spending time with his granddaughters. Fishing and spending time with family.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jason Morton (Kimberly) of Page, and Robert B. Morton Jr. (Charlie) of Lochgelly; daughter, Lora Ayers of Oak Hill; three granddaughters, Alexzandrea Thomas, AnnieKay Myree and Brookly Sky; another grand baby on the way, a great grandson Madiox Lee; his 14 fur babies; three bothers, Daniel Morton, Thurmond Morton and James Morton; and 2 sisters, Alberta Ramsey and Sharron Kay Johnson. Also surviving are his, step grandchildren, Arron, Kassie and Katie; 3 step great grandchildren, Lillian, Gracie and Kylee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was a beloved man and will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Thursday 17th, 2020 at Spirit & Truth Ministries in Oak Hill, WV with Bishop Sam Calloway, Jr. officiating. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
