Patricia Bowyer Treadway

Our precious mother and grandmother, Patricia "Patty" A. Bowyer Treadway, 81, of Clarksville, IN formerly of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Born on March 2, 1938, in Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Ambrose Franklin "Buzz" and Helen L. Farr Bowyer.
A 1956 graduate of Collins High School, classmates will remember Patty for her brains, beauty (she was Junior and Senior Beauty) and her many club activities.
Patty retired from the Student Records Department of the University of Louisville Law School. While she certainly enjoyed her job, Patty's whole world was her family. She devoted her life to them and in return they say she was the very best wife, mom and grandmother in the world.
Her husband of 58 years, Cecil "C.R." Arlington Treadway preceded her in death on October 15, 2014. She was also preceded by brother, James Bowyer.
Her memory will be forever cherished by daughter, Lisa Francisco and her husband, Gerry of Clarksville, IN, son, Craig Treadway and his wife, Theresa of Jeffersonville, IN; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Francisco, Ian Francisco, and Chandler Treadway; sister-in-law, Jean Bowyer; and nieces and nephews; also by several cousins.
Services will be on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Paul Neal officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park., Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
