Michael Andrew Garrett ,74, of Wriston, WV, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Born November 25, 1946, in Lick Fork, WV he was the son of the late Sydney and Jessie Lou Plumb Garrett.
He was a Masonry worker up until his retirement and was a member of the Loup Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his only son, Michael A. Garrett, II (Jan 8, 1992); brothers, Marvin Garrett, David Garrett, Daniel O'Neal Garrett , Albert Edward Garrett, and Robert Garrett; and sisters, Mary DelConte, Shirley Kay Holcomb, Sharon Fay Query, Mildred Goode, Doris Ayette, Ruth Mullette, Helen Jorden, Margaret Hamby, and Emma Jean Price.
Survivors include wife, Mary C. Taylor Garrett; sister, Betty Jamison of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Sunday June 13th, 2021, at the Loup Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Persinger officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV.
A visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home Inc. on Saturday June 12th, 2021, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
In an attempt to keep everyone who enters our establishment safe and healthy we have adopted the following guidelines: Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and observing social distancing of 6 feet.
