Louise Marchio Humphrey

Louise Marchio Humphrey, age 89 of Maple Fork, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Raleigh General Hospital. Born February 28, 1932 in Kilsyth, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Cinotti Marchio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Humphrey.. Louise was a 1949 graduate of Mount Hope High School and worked in government services for 37 years at the Mine Safety Health Administration(MSHA) in Mount Hope, retiring in April of 1987. Louise was a kind and generous person and a dedicated member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill. Louise is survived by her seven cousins, Johnny Stella, Rose Ann Vanover, Freddie Stella, Louie Stella, Angelina Nelson, Connie Taylor and Cheriann Hanson. A special thank you to her care givers, Rosie Fuller and Anna Mills for their dedicated and loving care. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill with the Rev. Luis Anthony (Tony) Lacson officiating.
