Louis Alvah Lively, Jr. , 88, of Pineville, WV died on Thursday, May 04, 2017 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born June 16, 1928 at Mount Carbon, WV he was the son of the late Lewis A. Lively, Sr. and Minnie Sona Nichols Lively.
He was a retired machinist. and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
His wife, Betty Jane Smith Lively preceded him in death on July 26, 1990.
Survivors include children, Patricia Miavitz of Oak Hill, Raymond Lively of Texas, Michael Lively of Medina, OH and Jeanette Wills of Brunswick, OH; sister, Edith; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Services will be on May 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Hamilton Don Smith officiating. Burial will be at Kincaid Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
