Lori Ann Hornsby, 58, of Ghent passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.

Born November 23, 1963, in Hopewell, VA. she was the daughter of the late Darrell and Barbara Curtis Worrell.

Lori was a 1982 graduate from Mount Hope High School, a member of the Red Star Baptist Church along with the Ghent Church of God, and in her free time she loved to make crafts.

She is preceded in death by siblings, Rick Blankenship, Lisa Worrell, and Virginia Gail Worrell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Timothy “Tim” Hornsby; sisters, Sharri (Jesse) Tarazon of Tuscon, AZ, Mazie Worrell of Parkersburg, WV, Nina Worrell Crab Orchard, WV, and Lacy Fields of Bradley, WV; brothers, Billy (Michelle) Worrell of Red Star, WV, Barri (Becky) Blankenship of Fayetteville, WV; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Teresa Meadows and Marie McClatchey; stepmother, Ann Worrell; and biological father, Charles Blankenship.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, June16, 2022 at Red Star Baptist Church with Pastor Ronald Sears officiating. Burial will follow at Ewing Creek Cemetery in Ewing Creek, WV.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service at the church.
