Lillian Mable Copley McCarraher, of Oak Hill, WV, age 100, passed away on September 12th, 2021.
Born April 27th, 1921, in Clifftop, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Minnie Moody Copley.
Lillian was a 1941 graduate of Fayetteville High School. During World War II she worked as a ship and bomb builder for our country. She attended the church of the Nazarene for many years.
She is preceded in death by husband, Harold S. McCarraher and by her 2 brothers and her 2 sisters.
She is survived by children; Harold McCarraher, Nancy Snuffer, and Mary Jane Hoffman (Jerry); grandchildren, Chris Snuffer, Toney McCarraher, Shannon Hodges, Gina Jackson, and Thomas McCarraher; as well as her brother, James Copley.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM on Monday September 20th, 2021 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 21st, 2021, at the Church of the Nazarene, at 1:00PM with Rev. Dan Cupp officiating. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
While masks are not required you might consider wearing one before entering the building as we all attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19.
