Landa Sue Carter

Landa Sue Carter, 76, of Beaver went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, following a short illness.
Born July 23, 1945, in Barboursville, KY she was the daughter of the late Andrew Ledford and Allie Mae Fredrick Carter of Pineville, KY, where Landa grew up.
Landa was a graduate from Bell Co. High School, aside from nursing home and factory work she was best known as a beautician at Harvey's Wig and Villa in Beckley WV where she was employed for over 20 years. Landa was a loyal member of the Grace Chapel Church in Beckley. She always enjoyed eating her steak dinners before heading to the moose and enjoyed dancing with all of her friends especially at her local Moose Lodge #1606. Her greatest joy was making memories with her family and the many others who surrounded her.
She is preceded in death by brother, Randall Eugene Carter.
Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Michele Sallie; grandson Jeremy Sallie; brother, David Timothy Carter; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Landa's wishes, she will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Beckley Moose Lodge #1606 410 New River River Drive Beckley WV, 25801.
