Lacy Byron Stover , 68, of Maple Fork, WV died on Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home..

Born April 30, 1949 at Willis Branch, WV he was the son of the late Lacy Byron and Lovell Ann Williams Stover.

A graduate of Concord College, Mr. Stover was a retired teacher from Mount Hope High School with 25 years service. He was an active member of Bradley Presbyterian Church. Lacy enjoyed the peace of nature and old TV westerns.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Paul Stover.

Survivors include daughter, Amy Rebecca Stover of Prosperity; son, Lacy Blaine Stover of Myrtle Beach, SC; the mother of his children and former wife of 35 years, Donna Stover of Prosperity; sister, Rose Mary Ward and husband, Isaac, of Maple Fork; and brother, Alan Stover and wife, Wanda of Marysville, TN

Mr. Stover was cremated. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Bradley Presbyterian Church with Pastor Elizabeth Stone officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the church.
