Joseph Clarence Buckland II (Joey), age 38, passed away suddenly on November 12th, 2021. He was born on July 24th, 1983, to parents Sandra Kay Bowyer and Joseph Clarence Buckland in Beckley, W.V. at Raleigh General Hospital.
He was a professional dry-waller who turned homes into his own beautiful art. His favorite pastimes were fishing, camping, and enjoying music.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Sandra Kay Bowyer and grandmother, Ida Belle Bowyer.
He is survived by his only child, Maxton Robert Lee Carter- Buckland, father, Joseph Clarence Buckland, brothers, Jerry Keith Scarbro, Jordon Isaac William Toney, Jacob Robert Toney (Christina), and Todd Eric Burdette (Billie) and sisters Jenae Kayla Morton (Dylan), Brittany Natasha Miller (Nicholas) and Holly Dawn Cook (Jessie), and many nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM and with friends starting at 1:00 PM. His funeral will begin at 2:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill, WV.
While masks are not required you might consider wearing one before entering the building as we all attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19.
