Johnny Nathan Johnson, 79, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Bower's Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born January 9, 1937 in Page, WV he was the son of the late Clark and Octavia Settle Johnson.
Johnny worked as a insurance salesman for Bankers Life and was foremen for 24 years at Long-Airdox. He was a life long member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene.
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Louise Clay ohnson; one daughter, Anita Johnson; four brothers, and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Michael Johnson and wife, JoAnn; two granddaughters, Stacy Adkins and husband, Gary, and Melissa Shirley and husband, Billy; four great grandchildren Aubrey, Hadley, Max, and Jacob; eleven nieces and seven nephews.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Randy James officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
