John Richard Nutter

John Richard Nutter, age 63, of Maple Fork, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House.

Born January 4, 1955 At Leivasy, WV, he as the son of the late Perry Wilson and Mable Virginia Berry Nutter.

John was a former manager of Lowe's in North Carolina and was a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Robert Curl Nutter and by a sister, Rita Workman.

Surviving are his children, John Wilson Nutter of Lexington, NC, Crystal Ann Jackson of Tennessee and Thomas Andrew Nutter of Maple Fork; his siblings, Wayne Nutter (Anna) of Sand Branch Road, Doris Lego(Larry) of Danese, Charles A. Nutter (Rosie) of Minden, David Nutter(Angie) of Louisville, KY, Larry Nutter, Sue Strohn (Scotty) and Teresa Lutz(Cassidy) all of Hilltop.

John was cremated. A celebration to honor his life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Sophia First Baptist Church with his brother, Pastor Wayne Nutter officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Sugar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Nutterville, WV
